Our Beginning
The SDBA, started as the South DeKalb Mall Merchant in the mid-1970s, has been and continues to be actively involved in encouraging and supporting economic development in the South DeKalb Community. The SDBA has been instrumental in the development and support of other organizations (South DeKalb Business Incubator (SDBI)) and community initiatives supporting children’s organizations, schools and community outreach groups.
Our Mission
The SDBA informs, educates and promotes South DeKalb Businesses and acts as a catalyst for the collaboration of Small Business, Corporate, local Government and Business & Community Groups to grow and enhance the economic quality of life for the South DeKalb Community.
